Quite impressive That and the multiple backflips! Four times null points equals null points We know that Norway has climbed the highest peaks of the Eurovision Song Contest stage but before this the country had a pretty abysmal reputation. (CNN)-- Norwegian violinist, Alexander Rybak, 23, won the Eurovision Song Contest with an upbeat ballad that got the most votes in the history of one of the world's most watched television shows.
Even though the Eurovision Song Contest took place 64 times, it has 67 winners. In 1969, 4 countries topped the scoreboard with an equal amount of points; the United Kingdom, Spain, the Netherlands and France.
Norway also has the two dubious distinctions of having finished last in the Eurovision final more than any other country and for having the most nul points (zero points) in the contest, the latter being a record the nation shared together with Austria. The country has finished last eleven times and has failed to score a point in four contests. However, Norway has won Eurovision three times. First in 1985 with La det swinge (Let It Swing) by Bobbysocks, then in 1995 with Nocturne by Secret Garden. The most recent victory came in 2009 , breaking another (this time more positive) record: Alexander Rybak achieved the highest score ever recorded in the history of Eurovision with his song EJQk. 121531405399175245367364
